BA Hons Business Management-Y1

The Diploma in Business ( MQF Level 5) is provided in conjunction with NCC Education and is equivalent to the first year of a BSc(Hons) UK degree with the University of Wolverhampton. The programme exposes students to many different aspects of international business in today’s world. Students who embark on this programme are exposed to both academic and vocational aspects of a wide range of subjects, providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills vital for a career in business or to further their studies.

This qualification is ideal for students who have obtained a secondary education certificate or matriculation certificate. It is also suitable for mature students who are currently employed and wish to change their careers or enhance their Business Management skills. In the case of mature students, work experience and qualifications other than O’ and A’ levels are taken into consideration.

The Diploma is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis. Students are given access to study and reading material. Assessments are provided and corrected by NCC Education and consist of several examinations and assignments.

Students who successfully complete this qualification gain direct entry to the 2nd year Top-up BA (Hons) Business Management offered by the University of Wolverhampton Malta.

Diploma in Computing-Y1

The Diploma In Computing (MQF Level 5) is provided in conjunction with NCC Education and is the first year of a three-year degree journey with the University of Wolverhampton. The programme exposes students to both academic and vocational subjects and includes topics related to web design, programming, hardware and networking.

This qualification is ideal for students who have obtained a secondary education certificate or matriculation certificate. It is also suitable for mature students who are currently employed and wish to change their career or enhance their ICT skills. In the case of mature students, work experience and qualifications other than O’ and A’ levels are taken into consideration.

The Diploma is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis. Students are given access to study and reading material. Assessments are provided and corrected by NCC Education and consist of a number of examinations and assignments.

The STC Education three-year Computing framework of study includes: 

First year: NCC Diploma in Computing (MQF Level 5)

Second year: University of Wolverhampton (MQF Level 5)

BSc (Hons) Cybersecurity or

BSc (Hons) Computer Science

Students who successfully complete the first year of the degree qualification usually gain direct entry to the 2nd year of a BSc (Hons) degree in Computing with the University of Wolverhampton.

Human Resources in Business

This module explores the dynamic role of  Human Resource Management policies and practices in contemporary organisations and their contribution to the goals of those organisations and their contribution to the goals of those organisations. It defines and critically examines the major philosophies, policies and practices related to the management of the human resource.

EBusiness

This Module explores a wide range of applications for eCommerce and the use of these in solving business problems. One will learn about state-of-the-art technologies and their major impact on the business world.

Principles of Marketing

This module examines the role and value of marketing in today’s increasingly competitive and dynamic environment. You will practice marketing principles in order to analyse, plan and implement policies to achieve marketing and corporate objectives.

Maths Class for SEC Exam

At STC Higher Education, we appreciate that failing an official Mathematics exam can be very tough for any student to handle, especially when this hinders progression. In view of this, we shall be offering students who are going to sit for their O Level Mathematics exam Paper 2B in May 2025, the opportunity to prepare themselves well under the guidance of an experienced and highly supportive Mathematics teacher.

The revision lessons will focus on strengthening understanding and increasing confidence in tackling exam questions. Emphasis will be placed on working out past papers and understanding what at an examiner is looking for in an answer. Time management will also be given importance, since this can be key when working under exam conditions.

Class is limited to a maximum of 15 students to ensure individual attention and personalised support.  The course is subject to a minimum of 7 students.

Accounts For Non Accountants

This Module introduces the basic concepts and techniques of financial and managerial accounting. It considers the role of accounting in recording and reporting financial performance and in providing information to decision-makers.

This module covers the principles and functions of management. You will be taught the key elements in planning and decision-making and the significance of different controls required in an organisation. You will gain a solid foundation and a breadth of knowledge in Business Management.
