STC Higher Education Empowers Seniors with Essential Digital Skills
This week, STC Higher Education and the Ministry for Health and Active Ageing concluded a successful eight-week computer course that gave senior students in Malta the fundamental digital skills they needed. The goal of the senior-specific course was to provide participants with the skills and assurance they need to use technology securely and successfully.
Throughout the program, students learned how to use the internet securely, manage and access emails, and work with mobile devices. They also explored digital photography, enhancing their ability to capture and share memorable moments with ease.
This initiative’s main objective was to assist seniors in gaining more digital literacy so they could maintain relationships with friends, family, and the larger community.
The course aims to bridge the digital gap and promote confidence in utilizing modern technologies by offering hands-on training in a friendly setting.
STC Higher Education is dedicated to supporting its community through lifelong learning, empowering individuals of all ages to succeed in today’s digital world.
